      RESTORING YOUR LAND

Let our experienced Master's level biologists help you restore your land to its fullest potential! Over the past century Texas has seen a number of invasive species dominate its rangelands. These species out compete many of our natives and reduce the production of both wildlife and livestock. There are a number of ways to restore natives on your property. Let us show you how!

Don't let an inexperienced contractor decide what is best for your land. They are often driven by the almighty dollar. As members of the community we enjoy seeing quality conservation practices being implemented. Before you hire just anyone call and speak with one of our biologists to explore one of your many options. If mechanical treatment is necessary we will alert you and give you a bid. There is no additional pressure to use us as a contractor; however, our operators work very closely with our biologists and are used to being ecologically sensitive.

Quick facts about what sets us apart
We use skid steers with hydraulic sheers, NOT BULLDOZERS, to clear Blueberry Ashe Juniper (Juniperus ashei). Bulldozers compact the soil surface and uproot trees which bring more large rocks to the surface of the land. Skid steers cut trees at ground level (leaving no stumps or rocks) and have shown to create a viable seedbed for native seeding. We have done work around the state including in the Post Oak Savannah, Hill Country, Crosstimbers and Praires, as well as South Texas .

      RESEEDING

Depending on your goals our biologists will design a seeding mixture of native grasses, forbs, and occasionally trees to apply to your property. There are different mixes for song birds, game birds, and deer.
